In order to have jobs flow smoothly from Estimating through Final Inspection, much depends on the up front intelligence deployed. Having an estimate is a good first step, but does that estimate inform your team of all elements needed to move forward after the bid is accepted and the contract is awarded? This is where we shine. Our bids are not simply unit cost based, we provide complete takeoffs for every substrate and material. This renders a labor and material cost for every color, sheen, and substrate. How does this help? Well, now quantities of all materials are known. Each individual material selected has been checked against the schedules and specifications. Producing an accurate list of materials needed is very straightforward. Moreover, information gaps between the materials schedule and the specifications can be addressed earlier in the process. Contradictory language between details, views and schedules can be addressed prior to committing to a number as well.
